TaskPlus

TaskPlus is plug-in for Today screen and display tasks and appointments from Outlook Pocket PC database.

Each line display one task with start date, subject and due date. Completed tasks are not displayed. Following actions are available from Today screen :

  •  tap in subject text area = display and edit  task details informations
  •  tap in due date area (right date) = complete  task after confirmation
  •  tap icon TaskPlus =  display create new task screen
  •  tap right part of title or min/max icon = open / close TaskPlus list

TaskPlus can display daily sign of Zodiak and track to display birthday items of contacts from Outlook Pocket PC.

  • Each birthday line display : birthday date, contact name, years old and (days before event).

TaskPlus can display appointments merged with the same category tasks

Help file can be displayed from general Help Pocket Pc system or from options dialog.
Tap in due date area (right date) = complete  task after confirmation ( subject of selected task is displayed in message box title )

Tap in subject text area = display and edit  task details informations
To check or change TaskPlus parameters, use Pocket PC settings.

Select Today to go to Today Options dialog
   
In Today Settings dialog, select TaskPlus ( or his clone ) and tap Options
TaskPlus Options 1 dialog  from Today settings screen:
  • Maximum displayed task
  • Task category (if you selected one of categories, this text will displayed in first line of TaskPlus screen).
  • Start Date ( may be more days in future )
  • Text size.
  • Text weight.
  • Display order ( start date, due date, subject ).
  • Clone TaskPlus instance
  • Display help file.
  • Date format

Categories : Birthday, Anniversary are avialable now and track records in Outlook Contacts database.
TaskPlus Options 2 dialog  from Today settings screen:
  • Battery status
  • Text color for out date task
  • Small text sign for out date task
  • Text color for very important task
  • Small text sugn for very important task

Remark :
Color setting is in hexadecimal value (Red/Green/Bleu)

 
TaskPlus Options 3 dialog  from Today settings screen:
  • Multiple Categories ( switch on/off for instance )
  • List with multi-selection ( 5 maximum )
  • Option available for each taskplus instance

 
TaskPlus Options 4 dialog
  • Left margin ( define space size to aligne text from left border)
  • Line format ( define one line text context)
  • Text title ( define title displayed on today screen - replace category name )

 
Birthday Options dialog  from Today settings screen:
  • Use same TaskPlus Options dialog
  • Select category Birthday
  • Others options have similar rules for birthday evenements as for tasks.
  • One of TaskPlus clone can work as birthday tracker.
Tap Help to display help file and follow link items to display requested help screen.
Tap Clone to instal TaskPlus child process.

Tap in text area for birthday = details  contact informations is displayed on device screen)
Exemple for Appointments :
define a appointment with the same category as your task display definition.		 define Appointment mode = Integrated
and color for text.		 Your appointment will be displayed with the sames conditions as tasks on your today screen.
